Summary:
Steve Rogers is no stranger to the silver screen.
Review:
I loved the concept of this story, bridging off from a small segment of the Captain America movie and expanding on it. Each segment is terrific, bringing the team closer together and educating Steve on the ways society has changed since he was frozen.
The story is well written and engaging. There’s plenty of humor and banter between the characters (I always love Bruce and Tony and the author does a great job with those two), but there are also some more poignant parts when touching on Natasha’s background and Steve’s views on sexuality. I liked the juxtaposition of the beginning and the end with Steve going from living alone in an apartment in Brooklyn simply because that’s where he grew up to the quiet domesticity of him cooking and singing in his home.
