Author's Summary
"Lex sells his soul to the devil to bring his son back from the dead."

Review:
Tim Drake has managed to re-clone Kon, but not bring back his soul. Lex then makes a Faustian bargain to restore his son to what he once was. When the implications of the deal become clear, Clark embarks on a journey to retrieve it.

There are many reasons I love this fic. First, because it contains one of my all-time favorite fic tropes: Smallville!based (i.e. best friends turned mortal enemies) Clark and Lex having to deal with the fact that they are Superboy's parents. Second, because Clark and Lex are masterfully written. You can see both the Smallville and DC influence in the characters, who certainly go way beyond the hero/villain archetypes. Last, but not least, because it's a really interesting premise that was fortunately written by an author that had the competence to turn it into a great story.

Slightly creepy in some parts , poignant and amusing in others and fascinating overall, this is one of my all-time favorite Smallville fics.
