Fandom: Bandom
Pairing: Frank/Gerard (bit of Ray/Bob and Mikey/Alicia)
Categories: Harlequin, Romance, AU, Fluff, Humor
Length: Epic

Author’s Summary: "Smokes," Mikey reads aloud. "Likes dogs in case ever get one. Likes rock music. Likes loud rock music. Is interesting. Does not hog bathroom." He looks at Frank over the top of his glasses. "Dude, it's like you're meant to be."
Review:
Conclusions is part of the Nesty Verse (“It's Bafflingly Long Winded! A cosy domestic world of fluff where MCR never existed. Gerard threw himself into art instead of music after 9/11, Frank owns an independent label, and Ray is a studio musician.”) and is preceded by Absence Sort of Does Make the Heart and Worth It by
cimness which focus on Ray/Bob. It is not necessary, however, to read the prequels to enjoy Conclusions.
This story reads like a good rom-com (unlike most of the “chick flicks” Hollywood has tried pawning off these days). Seriously, if you enjoy Frank/Gerard it’s a must-read, but even if you’re not a Bandom or even an RPS fan, pretend it’s an original fic and give it a whirl anyway. You get misunderstanding aplenty, cuddling for warmth, mutual but oblivious pining, grand gestures, and one of those odd little conversational gimmicks that keeps popping up and somehow ends up important – do I need to continue? ^_^
Rom-com clichés aside, Bexless does a really great job building up the relationship between Frank and Gerard – the progression from strangers to friends to lovers feels completely genuine and simply adorable. Go and give it a try.
