Harvey is (still) a lawyer. Mike is the only barista that gets his coffee order right, and isn't afraid of a bit of intelligent and snarky banter.

Review:
One of my favorite tropes in fandom, any fandom, is the barista AU, partly because I used to be a barista and partly because most barista stories are sweet and fluffy and just plain fun. This story is all of those things and then some. It’s like barista AU X 10,000 plus.

Some of the moment of this story that I absolutely loved included Harvey cooking for Mike on their date (and wonderful descriptions of the food - which is a thing for me), Mike being into the manual espresso machines instead of the automatic ones (again, former barista so, yeah), the friendships between the characters especially the women, Jenny’s baking, smart Mike, the sweet, sexy kisses shared between Harvey and Mike, and Mike reciting legal definitions to turn Harvey on.

This fic does contain OC’s, a fair amount of them honestly, but the author does an absolute fantastic job giving them their own personalities and fleshing them out that they do not distract from the story at all. I found myself thoroughly enjoying them which is something I don’t usually say about OC’s in fic.
