Review:
For the Mickey fans, you know who you are.This is the fic you have always wanted because Mickey is adopted by the Gallaghers. He would fix all their problems, you know he would. The fact that he takes other people's problems on as his own would be great for Fiona who always looks desperate for any help. Carl loves his violence and Debbie loves his company. Ian is away for most of this fic so it is more about Mickey and Ian's family and how they would interact. There is still a dreadful lack of that in the show.

The thing about Mickey is you can't fix him like you want to. He is the sweetest character under the sharpest skin that grew out of the very real fear that he would be killed if he ever acted like himself. As much as you would like to imagine Mickey in a happier environment, without that fear of his dad he wouldn't be the Mickey we know. This fic manages to balance that issue seriously while letting Mickey get to know what another families life could be like.

Maybe we will get to see this for real on the show in the future.
