Summary:He has everything he wanted. But the price is too high.

Review: While short, this is one of the best views of what a smart, if not completely redeemed Loki could do with the power he gained in 'The Dark Earth'

I like how he is able to keep both his own agenda in mind, as well as the needs of his people. One of my favorite interpretations of Loki's motives is that all he knows how to do anymore is fight against whatever is set against him, without having a goal further than that.

This story does a great job of both having his eyes firmly set upon the struggles ahead, and upon all that he has lost in the past. Even when he has the throne, he is still fighting against what he views as people's expectations.
