Summary:The first thing Riddick thought of the beast that had just tackled him to the ground was “beautiful.” How was he to know that this predator would turn into an equally attractive man? Johns wasn't sure what he expected when he finally caught up to the convict of legend, but it certainly wasn't to find himself drawn to the man.

Review: This is a shifter AU of the events leading up and including Pitch Black and Butcher Bay.

Johns is a shifter who finds his mate in Riddick. This is pretty much a straight up Paranormal Romance. (With space travel) Johns and Riddick meet their equals in each other and can't seem to let each other go.

Which leads to some interesting changes in the line up of survivors when the events of Pitch Black happen. They also get to meet the crew from the 2013 movie. And you learn about Riddick's bast, all culminating in a happy ending where Riddick and Johns basically ride off it the 'sunset'. Space travel style.
