Fandom: Teen Wolf
Pairing: Derek/Stiles, Stiles/Others
Categories: AU, romance, prostitution
Length: Long (20,276)
Warnings: Brief violence. (There's no mpreg or indication that mpreg is possible, but Derek does express a desire to be able to get Stiles pregnant.)

Author's Summary: "You know you're allowed to ask for vanilla sex, right?" he says, afterwards. "We can do whatever you want. That's kind of the point."
Derek doesn't respond.
Review:
Stiles is twenty-one and working as a prostitute whose customers are mainly werewolves. Derek asks him to drop his other clients.
Instead of rough sex, the secret longing Derek's afraid to voice is for gentleness, commitment, and even that darkest and kinkiest of secrets... a desire to one day start a family. She makes great use of his awkwardness and stalkerish tendencies too, so he feels very in character. And Stiles is dead-on; he's mouthy and smart, great with his plans to improve Derek's life, and he's also coming around to the joys of vanilla sex and his feelings for Derek. Erica and Isaac are a great supporting cast.
This could have been solely about the Hooker!AU plot and miscommunications, but kalpurna's writing ensures that it ends up being more about character development. She shows it in their vulnerability, their growing fondness for one another, and in a few dozen great details that range from the funny to the insightful. (A favorite of mine is when Stiles compares Derek's sad attempts at stalking to that of a cat trying to hide behind a sneaker.)

Summary:
Labyrinth crossover. Mycroft wishes nine-year-old Sherlock away to the goblins. This turns out to be a mistake for everyone involved. Jareth suffers the most.
Review:
I'm presenting a short fic today but it made me laugh a few days ago and I didn't want to miss reccing it.
I often enjoy well-plotted crossover. And this one, while completely crack-ish is very well-done. The author ties the plots of both fandoms with ease.
Goldenusagi created great dialogs. Both Sherlock and Mycroft are very much in characters. And the banter between all the characters is spot on.
If you want to have fun, just go. You won't regret it.
