Summary:
Niles and Frasier, hunters of the supernatural.

Review:
This is a hilarious fusion of Supernatural and Frasier that places the Crane boys in the Supernatural world yet keeps the distinct Frasier flavor. This is one of the best examples of a fusion I’ve read; it is so wonderfully executed. Beyond the great fusion of the two worlds, the best part of this story is the humor. It is dry, witty and terrific.

It should be noted, before events get underway, that Hester Crane didn’t die on the ceiling in a cheap white nightgown. Neither Frasier nor Niles would ever have gotten over the humiliation of knowing that she’d willingly worn polyester.

Title: Thermodynamics Series
Fandom: Sherlock BBC
Pairing: Sherlock/John
Categories: domestic, asexual, first time, romance, humor
Length: long (16,300)
Warnings: none

Summary: In which there's no heating and there's a dead owl in Sherlock's bed.

Review:
You know how, in many stories, the focus is on the action, and only brief mention is made of catching a night's sleep? In this series, you get the night's sleep, in glorious detail, with thrashing, cover pulling and what percentage of the bed is stolen from John. Hot beverage demands are a recurring theme.

Entanglednow captures John's deadpan exasperation and the sharp humor in Sherlock's inability to understand such social norms as not storing a dead owl in your room, not expecting to be welcomed unannounced at 2 a.m., and not dying of hypothermia because you couldn't be bothered.

I also like the moment when John catches on to what's been happening, and Sherlock illustrates that identifying as asexual doesn't mean he isn't, as usual, wholly obsessed by anything to do with John.

Thermodynamics Series (at AO3)
