I was looking for something a bit different to rec this week. So I went through some fics with an unusual formatting and I chose this one. I'm not always a fan of those "x times it happened like this and one time it didn't" but it works here.
Oddegg uses this structure to show how Burt Hummel supports his son through the years and it's quite well-done.
I really enjoyed the pre-serie vignettes which are quite insightful and quietly show just how awesome Burt is.

One last thing, this fic was written in 2010. It's clearly a post season 2 story and doesn't follow canon past this date.

This is an unfinished 2 part series, but each part ends neatly with no cliffhangers or anything requiring you to go on to the next part. However, you do need to read part 1 in order to understand part 2. If it gets finished it will most likely be a trilogy.

Part 1 has *no* incest. Draco and Lucius are in bed with Hermione at the same time, but Hermione is always between them.

Onto the review!
This is one of my favorite HP fics of any pairing. It's one of my 'go to' fics when I want a story I can get lost in. :)  It's an extremely well written, complex story. Hermione begins to date Draco, but is inexplicably drawn to Lucius as well. Then her magic goes on the fritz, as does Draco's. Lucius provides an explination, but it comes with more questions than answers. Hermione goes into 'reaserch mode' and with more information the three consider the pros and cons of what's happening. (If I tell you what it is, it'll ruin the surprise, although it may be quite obvious what's happening). No matter what they choose their lives are going to be altered and neither choice will be easy.
