Summary: “Gerard and Mikey have lost their parents, but they've found Brian. - The one that starts with Brian adopting 14-year-old Gerard and his 11-year-old brother Mikey, hiring Brendon the college student to look after them during the first summer, and ends with Gerard's first year in college and Pretty; Odd's first tour.
Review: Brian adopts the Way brothers after Gerard steals his wallet, then he adopts Brendon, then he adopts Ryan, and his family just keeps growing from there.
This is an extremely warm; fluffy; domesticy fic for as serious as the premis is. Brian is an awesome adopted dad, Kid!Frank just makes you want to pinch his cheeks, and Gerard is completely awesome in all his bratty glory.
Read this as Bandom, read it like your reading Original fic, it's awesome either way. Just give it a try. I promise you will be sucked in if your as much of a sucker for domestic fic as I am.

Review:
Sam Evans was a rational person. So why was he leaving Dalton, again?
This was one of those fics that really snuck up on me. I’d had it on my to-read list for a while due to its size and pairing, but hadn’t really had the time to tackle it until recently and I’m happy to report it was well worth the wait. Based in an alternate universe where Sam transfers from Dalton and is best friends with Blaine, this fic completely sucked me in and made me care about the characters involved, even if they weren’t always in-character. Maybe especially because they weren’t always in-character; giving the author a chance to round them out and give them realistic AU-quirks.
Better still, in my opinion, was that the author didn’t just jump right into the relationship aspect of this fic. Instead, we’re eased into the pairing and introduced to the characters with a kind of thoroughness that makes it easy to understand their motivations and why they’d want to be together. Even with all the teenage and not-so-teenage drama going on around them.
Overall, I’d recommend this fic to anyone who enjoys reads that are long, easy going, and complete in and of itself even if the author has mentioned the possibility of a sequel.
