Based in an alternate universe where Sam transfers from Dalton and is best friends with Blaine, this fic completely sucked me in and made me care about the characters involved, even if they weren’t always in-character. Maybe especially because they weren’t always in-character; giving the author a chance to round them out and give them realistic AU-quirks.

Instead, we’re eased into the pairing and introduced to the characters with a kind of thoroughness that makes it easy to understand their motivations and why they’d want to be together.
