Title: Timshel
Fandom: Merlin
Pairing: Arthur/Merlin
Categories: Romance, AU
Length: Long (~34,000 words)
Warnings: n/a

Author on LJ: [livejournal.com profile] ems
Website: [livejournal.com profile] proems

Summary: Merlin is definitely supposed to work for Arthur, but spends most of his time mocking Arthur's dress sense, berating him via IM with Morgana, sending Gwen capslock-filled emails about him and, most of all, trying not to fall in love with the shiny-shoed ponce. Arthur, meanwhile, is definitely supposed to be taking over his father's company some day, but instead spends most of his time scowling at Merlin, making lists about him, trying to find excuses to fire him and, most of all, trying to pretend he is totally not head-over-heels for the jumped up little upstart. Someone's got to make some difficult choices eventually, and this can only lead to one thing: angst. Or hilarity. Or, embarrassingly enough, self-discovery.

Review:
Ok, I'll admit it- when it comes to office AU's, I am as easy as a cheerleader on the rebound. But seriously, it's like this fic was written with a list of all the things I love as a guide. Misunderstandings? Check. Pining? Check. Office shenanigans commentated by Morgana and Gwen? Check. Uther being evil? Oh, that's a check.
...The list goes on in that vein for a while after that. But what I'm saying is that this fic is sweet and funny, with a helping of angst to balance it out, so that it isn't cavity-inducing. If you've liked any of the hundred or so office AU's I've recced in the past, then it's a safe bet that you will like this one too. This is a long, satisfying romance, and [livejournal.com profile] ems is a strong writer, so if you've liked any of the hundred or so office AU's I've recced in the past, then it's a safe bet that you will like this one too.

Title : Fencing
Fandom : Highlander/Ocean 11
Pairings : None
Categories : Crossover, Humor, Friendship
Length : Medium (~3800 words)
Warnings : N/A

Author in LJ : [livejournal.com profile] merriman
Author website : on AO3. Not all of merriman's fics are archived there.

Summary:
Losing one's sword can be terribly inconvenient. Having it stolen is worse.

Review :
You only need to know very little about both fandoms to enjoy this crossover. And this story is really a gem.
I did hesitate to rec it since it's quite short but i think the shortness really works here (even if I wouldn't have minded more of it). It is a great story and i think anybody can enjoy it.
The first scene is great. The banter between both sets of characters are spot on. And the dialogs are just masterpieces of fun and delicious puns.
