It is a true universally acknowledged, that a Superboy bereft of superpowers must be in want of tentacles. This is a hilarious, surprisingly raunchy tale of poor Tim Drake, distracted by Kon's tentacles and sweetly grumpy/horny when everyone else wants a piece of them. I absolutely loved how the author portrayed Tim- he's the badass little freakboy that we know and love, but at the same time, he's also a hormonal sixteen year old who is surrounded by other hormonal teenagers, with whom he shares strong bonds of ...friendship. I also really liked how the DC heroes deal with sexuality (and tentacles), given the fact that they are people who regularly go out in spandex to do battle with other people, also wearing skin-tight clothing. They are delightfully weird, and I think that this quote really sums it up:

“Congratulations! None of my teammates ever sprouted tentacles, you lucky bastard.” Nightwing paused, frowning thoughtfully. “I mean, except for Beast Boy. And that was pretty weird.”

Despite there being no actual smut in this fic, the UST between Tim, Kon, and Cassie is scorching hot, and the ensemble chemistry is seriously amazing. The cameos made by Nightwing, Oracle, Catwoman and Batman are equally well done, and basically this is 9600 words of hilarity and fun with psychic tentacles. The only complaint I have is that there is no sequel and I WANT MY TENTACLE ORGY, DAMNIT.
