I always get quietly thrilled when I stumble across a clever ‘what if’ fic, especially when it’s in a fandom that is largely neglected. Based entirely within the movie, Upside Down With Love is a delightfully quirky romance that simply takes a different fork in the road for all characters involved. Catch is still Catch, Peter is still Peter and Barbara is still most definitely Barbara; they all just end up with a different ending. Which is, essentially, what ‘what if’ stories are all about, isn’t it?
