Sorry this is so late everybody. My family got a stomach bug and by the time I was finished taking care of them I was ready to crash.

Title
: Help I Need Somebody
Fandom: NCIS
Pairing: Tony/Gibbs
Categories: AU, Angst, Attempted Suicide, Dark, Friendship, Family, Sad Story
Length: Epic (50,000)
Warnings: Mental Illness, Sexual Abuse, Attempted Suicide, Childhood Neglect

Author on LJ: [livejournal.com profile] buffyangel68
Website: BuffyAngel68's WWOMB page

Summary: My version of where Tony might have ended up after the crappy treatment he received in Boxed In. This is a bit dark, but I have to go with the muse and this is what she provided. The thought woke me up crying, as a matter of fact.

Review: After the events of Boxed In Tony is suffering from severe depression and contemplates suicide. Desperate he checks himself into Bethesda Medical Hospital.
What follows is a mixture of who done it and character study. Tony tries to discover what caused him to react so negatively to being 'abandoned' by his team, while Gibbs tries to figure out who pushed Tony over the edge.

This is a well written story that allows for a deeper understanding of this version of Tony's character without getting bogged down in physiological drama. The one weak point is the borderline character bashing of Ziva. It fits well within this universe and the story wouldn't be as complete without it, but if your particularly sensitive to character bashing you probably shouldn't read this story.

Title: History, Repeating Itself
Fandom: Sherlock Holmes
Pairing: Sherlock/Watson, Irene/Mycroft
Categories: Action/Adventure, AU, Drama, Friendship, Humor, Hurt/Comfort, Romance
Length: Epic
Warnings: recreational drug use

Author on LJ: n/a (?)
Website: n/a (?)

Review:
John Watson is a med student, a war veteran, and, by and large, a fairly sensible person. He had every chance to run.

This is one of those AU’s that completely speaks for itself and I mean that in a ‘go read it now’ way. Filled with the same trials and tribulations we know and love from the original Holmes’verse, History, Repeating Itself is a charming mix of quirky humor, fast-paced action, and rampant unpredictability. Though it might be argued that the author has taken too many liberties with the characters themselves, I found myself delighting in every new twist and turn and wishing for more, even when it was over.
