Review:
To better protect their relationship, Jeeves and Bertie move to France in 1936. When the Nazis occupy Paris, they are separated, leading Bertie down a path that will brand him as a traitor to his country and Jeeves to mourn for years the loss of the love of his life.

Based on the book "Wodehouse At War", which recounts the story of Plum's broadcasts on Nazi radio (which led many of his countryman to consider him a traitor), "Wooster at War" shows the effects of the Second World War and its aftermath on Jeeves and Bertie. Isolated because of their love for each other, separated by war and trying to carry own despite their losses, this is an interesting and original look at what could have happened to Jeeves an Bertie as Woodhouse's idyllic world were shattered and the cruel reality of war were to intrude. Despite the heavy angst that accompanies the fic, the ending (though it felt a little rushed to me) is most definitely happy and incredibly satisfying.
