Review: This is a dimension hopping AU, three Ianto's, two Jack's and two love stories.

The story picks up after the events of Cyberwoman, during Ianto's suspension. Ianto is working on sorting out the leavings of Canary Warf, when he accidentally sets off a interdimensional transference device. He's sent to a universe where he died in Canary Warf, along with Lisa.

I like this story because the Plot Bunnies do an admirable job of keeping their universes straight. With fics that jump universes multiple times it is easy to fall into the trap of getting to complicated to follow. The Plotbunnies keep things straightforward and easily understandable without loosing the focus on the universe's differences and the emotional repercussions of waking up in a world where you get a new chance to meet everybody you accidently betrayed in your own world.

Ianto's character is particularly well written. His indecision about what his relationship with Jack means to him, as well as his suspicions that he's not the only Torchwood Three Archivist with secrets, lets him be downtrodden without becoming incompetent.

The ending is fairly cliche with the second Jack sending Ianto back to his home universe, but it is nice to see the how Ianto's new confidence in his feelings for Jack and Torchwood, effect his return.

Review: This is a great case fic about how Torchwood 4 was found again.

Case Fics are usually hit or miss with me, mostly because they rely so heavily on the OC characters. This fic is no exception.

Almost half of the fic revolves around the interactions of Torchwood 4's team with Ianto and the Torchwood 3's team. The are all interestingly written and well rendered, though I wouldn't have minded a bit more character building. Thankfully, the lack of character building doesn't really hurt the fic, since it's main focus is on the case and not the characters.

The case is interesting and there are enough tight spots and cliff hangers to keep it engaging throughout.

Whoops! Since "Worlds..." now seems to be f-locked, here's another figure skating fic.

Title: General Incivility

Review:
When Adam Rippon calls Johnny in desperate need of dating assistance, Johnny is more than happy to help. Of course, he doesn’t plan on Evan being involved. Evan just might be the wrench in his plans.

I’ll admit that when I read the premise for this one I actually shuddered. After all, how can anyone write a Pride and Prejudice style Skating RPS and actually make it readable? But harriet-vane somehow was able to pull it off. I think the fact that the plot has next to nothing in common with Pride and Prejudice has something to do with it. This is a great ex’s getting back together fic.

Johnny Weir is so spot-on in this I get tingles up my spine. I love how harriet-vane was able to make Evan a bit more flawed, too. Their relationship has the feel of the classic Bennet-Darcy relationship, full of bickering and back-handed compliments, but is still perfectly believable as a possible present-day relationship between the two of them.
