Review:
When the Malfoy family is put on trial after Voldemort's defeat, Harry speaks for Narcissa and Draco (which I think is actually canon). He doesn't speak up for Lucius, however, and Draco swears revenge, even as he completes his probation -- six months as Hagrid's assistant.
Despite the summary, this story is less about revenge and more about Draco growing up. His life post-war isn't easy and he has enemies, but unlike Draco of Hogwarts (i.e., prone to whining to get his own way) Draco is learning that he's not going to always get what he wants and that not everything he grew up believing is true. It's a fascinating and surprisingly believable transformation, one that actually makes me believe that Draco and Harry might have a chance at a real, long-term relationship.
If you're a fan of Draco (or a fan of the idea of Draco growing up a bit), this is the fic for you.

Title: Rich Man's Darling by LastScorpion
Fandom: House/Smallville
Pairing: Clark/Lex, a het pairing I'm pretending didn't happen (except to note that Cuddy is a doctor, too, dammit!)
Categories: mpreg, case file, angst
Length: Long (~19,000 words)
Author's Warnings: If Clark Kent’s throwing up, it’s probably not just the flu
My warnings: um... gore. And ickiness. (And I'm never, *ever* having children. Ever. Ew.)
Author on LJ: n/a?
Website: n/a
Review:
Lex Luthor offers House ten million dollars to look at a patient and a crapload more to cure him. The patient? Superman!
I'm mostly reccing this because of the characterizations, which are brilliant. Between Chase being utterly intimidated by pretty much everything, House being House, Wilson being awesome, Lex being (worried, vengeful) Lex, Cameron being a pile of mush, and Clark being... really, really sick, you have a truly fascinating mix of characters. Bonus: unique explanation for Superman's savior complex! House and Lex facing off! Mercy and her kryptonite bullets!
In short, a story for anyone who has ever wanted to see a crossover between House and Smallville.
Rich Man's Darling
The sequel that disses (Dr. Cuddy): Well Baby?
