lostwolfchats specializes in fics “In the in-between”, or between episodes in the series. This one occurs just after the episode “World War III”. Since these kind of Missing-Moment Fics are my weakness, I have a huge fondness for lostwolfchats’s work, which is well deserved. She writes Nine extremely well, he’s gruff and gentle and acerbic and squishy all at the same time. ^_^ In this fic, he and Rose go back into Arthurian times, accidentally interrupting the tale “Sir Gawain and the Green Knight”. Knowing the legend ahead of time is nice, but not necessary to enjoy this fic. It’s sweet and adventurous, definitely a worthwhile read.
