This is the story I go to when I need a smile. Ashley's College 'Verse is one of those things that just gives me a happy feeling to read. The first story, from Jared's point of view, tells the story of his freshman year. Naturally, the major focus is on the relationship that develops between him and his hot RA, Jensen, but the neat thing, in my opinion, is that it really is a college story about finding your feet in college. In the very first chapter Jared deals with move-in and insta-friends (you know, the people you form instant friendships with your first day because no one wants to be alone in college.) Plus, it's an ongoing 'verse with plenty of side stories, follow-ups, and a nearing completion sequel. There's even a few re-tellings from Jensen's POV that do a terrific job of really adding to the story instead of just rehashing it. And the 'verse has expanded to encompass the whole group of friends that Jared and Jensen are part of which is neat to see.

It's sweet and fluffy and funny. A favorite re-read of mine.
