Author's Summary: Radek is convinced to spend the summer with his sister in her sleepy little seaside town.
Review:
Lorne/Zelenka is one of those pairings that I get inexplicably enthused about, and after inquiring about any fic out there centering on the two I was pointed towards a number of good ones. "Flamingo Beach" , a Harlequin-style romance fic about the frazzled scientist being swept up by a laid back pilot named Evan, was the one I fell the hardest for. It was written for last year's
summersteam challenge, and it's a perfect compliment to bright sunny days on the beach: there's a dollop of sweetness, a touch of angst, and a happy ending. Even though the focus is on Radek, it's not so much a character-driven piece as it is all about atmosphere. It really is a neat warm-weather story that leaves a smile on one's face.
