After last week's angst-fest, how about a little fluff to clean the palate...

Review:
Bertie gets engaged -- intentionally, even! -- and Jeeves does not take it well. Then *Jeeves* gets engaged and, well. The word 'despair' pops up an awfully large number of times in the subsequent paragraphs.

J&W canon (and, thus J&W fanfic) tends to be remarkably unoriginal in its plots; the humor of the series comes from the writing and the twists and turns of Jeeves's cleverness. Sine gets bonus points for coming up with not one but *two* things that I didn't expect in this story. Plus, a falling-down-drunk Bertie mooning over Jeeves in his PJs. Now that's a scene worth reading.
