Ya'll know how I feel about vids, so you're probably nearly as surprised to see this rec as I am.  And yet, I couldn't *not* rec it, because it's simply too awesome not to share.

For those that don't know, Apocalypse Now is essentially Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness (about a man who travels into deep Africa and goes nuts) set during the Vietnam War.  In other words, it's a pretty freaking depressing movie (or so I've heard -- ya'll also know how I feel about unhappy endings), so when I stumbled across a *funk* vid of said movie, I had to watch.  Man, am I glad I did.  I've *never* seen a vid so well put together -- the selected scenes match the music brilliantly, the timing is perfect, and the video quality is professional quality.  For anyone who can't resist watching a bunch of hot, sweaty army men getting groovy to funky music, this is the vid for you.
