It's October, the month of Halloween, a time to explore fandoms/stories featuring supernatural occurances. I will be posting post one supernatural/horror rec every week and hopefully end with something truly terrifying for the last week of the month, which is also our theme week.

Author's Summary: The Winchester brothers investigate a wishing well that turns out to be more than they expected and they're running out of time to save its victims.

Review:
Sam and Dean figured out a way to stop the curse of the wishing well, but little did they know that while the cycle of curses had been broken, the last wish hadn't been fulfilled yet.

Supernatural case-fics with a side of Sam/Dean are my fandom favourites and that's exactly what The Well is. The writing is a bit rough at times, but I didn't mind that so much because the case was interesting enough. It was slightly disconcerting to read about hunting while pregnant, but I suppose that's fairly in-character for the two hunters. It's a shame that the author didn't write any future time-stamp fics with the three Winchesters hunting together (1).
