I haven't recced a Due South fic in ages now, mainly because I'm working on DS fics of my own (which makes it really difficult to read in the fandom). Fortunately, I've found that I *can* read DS fic as long as the pairing is different from the one I'm writing. Thus it's time to start introducing F/V fics! Yay!

After a few months of the Adventure, RayK and Fraser have a talk about RayV. Who happens to have divorced from Stella and is currently in Chicago. Love and friendship follows.

Man, I love this fic so much. I've been trying to get into F/V for a while, but too often I ended up reading fics written during the Ray Wars. As a huge fan of *both* Rays, I just can't get into a fic that bashes RayK and I was starting to consider giving up F/V entirely.

Then I read this fic and was just thrilled. Fraser loves both Vecchio and Kowalski, but in different ways, and Vecchio and Kowalski both love Fraser (in different ways). I love the angst between Fraser and RayV, I love the friendship between Fraser and RayK, and I love how both Rays are willing and able to acknowledge the importance of the other Ray in Fraser's life. A beautiful, touching story.
