Summary: Destiny has a way of complicating fairytale romances.

Review: The Eleventh Prince is a good example of using the fairy tale premise as a jumping off point without getting bogged down in trying to make the story mesh with any particular fairy tale.

Suzaku is a smart, over achieving Knight, Lulu is a spoiled brat of a prince, and the surrounding characters make the perfect unwillingly dutiful advisers and caretakers. It makes for a great family dynamic that gives a glimpse of the Britannian royal families more dysfunctional moments without making the story dark or foreboding.

You don't have to know much about the Code Geass fandom to find this story a fun read, but if you are familiar with the fandom, there are a few nice 'easter eggs' that give the story an added layer of humor.
