Post Iratus-bug transformation (sorry, I'm completely incompetent when it comes to episode titles), John *doesn't* change back to a human. Physically, at least. His mind is fine, however, and Rodney (with whom John has been having a long-standing, casual affair) announces he doesn't care about John's appearance. John, on the other hand...

Everyone's well-done in this fic, but I particularly like John's development as he learns that his looks might not be all he have to offer, and that there really are people out there who can look beyond the physical. Plus, you know, all kinds of romantic angst between Rodney and (a very bull-headed) John. An intriguing look into what it might feel like to go from being everyone's favorite boy to being an outsider and a freak.
