Author's Summary: A blind seer guides the 'Hero' through his destiny.

Review:
A fantasy AU wherein Squall is a blind seer and Seifer is a swordsmen who makes his living through tournaments. The story jumps right into the action when Squall warns Seifer of an attempt on his life. You quickly discover that the two are caught up together in some sort of destiny. I don't want to go into detail - suffice it to say, the plot is has plenty of action and plot twists to keep you intrigued.

The characters are fabulously done. Seifer strikes just the right chord - he's still arrogant and aggravating but he's surprisingly likable with his refreshing straightforwardness and the ease with which he comes to respect and love Squall. Squall is the touchier, more complicated character. What I love about what Sukunami did is that despite taking the role of the "weaker" and less overtly masculine character, he comes off as the stronger of the pair with his mental fortitude, endurance, and bad ass-ness in his own right.

A solid fantasy AU rife with gods, magic, and lovely romance.
