Review:
It all begins at an LA party (of course), where Harry overhears a couple of guys speculating about why Perry's being so nice (for Perry) to Harry. Unsurprisingly, their conclusion involves sex. Which isn't at all the reason, but now that the idea has been planted in Harry's head, he just can't seem to get it go...
The relationship between Harry and Perry is one of the most difficult to pull off correctly and one of the most rewarding when it's done right and it is absolutely perfect here. Harry is his usual insecure, babbling self and Perry is his usual sarcastic, not-quite-the-bastard-he-wants-people-to-believe self, and the two of them together are funny and snarky and irresistably charming. Plus, the opening monologue is even better than the movie's! Just wonderful all around.
