Jeeves and the Thorny Problem by triedunture (NC-17)
Title: Jeeves and the Thorny Problem by triedunture
Fandom: Jeeves and Wooster
Pairing: Jeeves/Wooster
Categories: angst
Length: Long (~21,000 words)
Warnings: emotionally unhealthy relationship; coerced voyeurism
Author on LJ:
triedunture
Website: n/a
Review:
Bertie starts dating someone who isn't Jeeves. And, to make things worse, the person in question isn't very nice, either.
I may have read angstier J&W fics than this one, but for the life of me I can't remember when. It's dark (by my standards) and a bit painful, but also very, very plausible. Jeeves (whose POV the story is in) is especially well-drawn; more vulnerable than he is usually portrayed and more human. A good fic for those times when you want something a little bit dark and very angsty.
