Review:
Sometimes I miss the good old days of SGA fic, where a plot could be as simple as the boys finding an Ancient toy and having fun with it. Thus, Instantaneous. John touches an Ancient device and suddenly has a personal matter transport device in his hand. As in *in* his hand. *shudder* Anyway, this translates into John being able to transport himself instantly from one place to another, which of course leads to scientific experimentation, pranks, and surreptitious Rodney stalking.
I like the pure geeky fun Rodney and John get out of their new favorite toy, the way they snark (but are still friends), and, in a perverse sort of way, I like the fact that stalker!John is kind of creepy, even if he tries to convince himself he isn't. Canon!John really isn't a very nice guy, and while fanon!John is much better, he still has issues. Cimorene doesn't forget that, and the story is better for it.
