This fic was initially recced in the Fan Art and Pod Fics RR post we had last December (BTW, thank you,

werewolfsfan for the wonderful rec!) and it immediately captivated me.

"The Little Vulcan" is a Star Trek/The Little Prince fusion fic in which Spock is cast as the the Prince, McCoy as the Fox, Jim as the Pilot and Logic as the Rose. Fortunately, Aya did not content herself with simply replacing the characters names, but adjusted the dialogues and the story in such a way that every character retained his own voice while still adapting perfectly to Saint-Exupery's world. This unique and beautiful fic is further enhanced by the lovely watercolor illustrations by

pouf which accompany it.
