Review:
I love Ith's original characters, they are so well written and never come across as Mary Sue's. Emily Scott is a strong independent woman before she even meets Methos, and doesn't turn into a wilting flower after being with him. This story expands on what we learn of Methos during his time with Alexa and pushes him even further showing just how far he'll go to keep a woman he loves alive. It doesn't have a 'happy ending', but it is hopeful with the possibility of future reconciliation/friendship.
