An Exchange & Reciprocity by oroburos69 (PG)
Title: An Exchange & Reciprocity
Fandom: The Mentalist
Pairing: gen
Categories: humor, hurt/comfort
Length: medium (1,996 + 3,729 words)
Warnings: n/a

Summary:
Jane keeps giving the team gifts. They are surprised, confused, and eventually amused when they figure out why...[later] Jane gives back the things he borrowed and receives gifts in return.
Review:
Explores Jane's relationships with his team members through the lens of gifts given and items taken from his teammates. An Exchange is silly and fluffy with Jane both providing his teammates with little things they like and sneaking other personal objects to keep a hold of. Reciprocity takes an angsty turn, with Jane falling apart after Red John being captured, and his teammates take care of him in their own ways. The stories display an odd, quirky version of Jane, one that's a bit more cracked than in canon, but they're a fun mix of humor and hurt/comfort.
