Summary:Big man in a suit of armor. Take that off and what are you?

In which Tony Stark takes two steps forward and one step back

Review: I love vids that mix together clips from various movies, and some awesome music to show the character's grown throughout canon in a small little package of awesomeness.

Cuckoo had the honor of both being a song I'd never heard before and surprisingly a pretty much perfect song for Tony Stark and all his various problems throughout the first two movies.

Summary: He kisses her like it’s the end of the world. And then he dies, and it is, and Peggy starts counting the years in terms of A.S. After Steve. And then she gets to 5 A.S and realizes she hasn’t aged a day, and it occurs to her that kiss might have been more important than she thought. Peggy/Steve and a happy ending.

Review: This actually hits one of the major tropes that drives my completely insane about the Superhero Genre. The idea that every male superhero that has a movie also has a girl he's destined to be with.

Which is pretty much a load of crock. Anyway what Della did with this series was turn that idea on it's head. With the help of one Kick-butt agent Peggy Carter. Yes all of the characters end up paired off with their 'destined' partners, but none of the woman are just sitting around waiting for their boys to come back home.

Peggy lives an awesome life, reinvents herself, matchmakes like the crochety old woman, you just know she would have grown up to be in another universe, and basically steers the whole universe in a new direction. One that involves babies and weddings, and happily ever afters all around. All without ever becoming the token 'female love interest' or resolving that 'she doesn't need a man'. Pepper, Betty, and Darcy are awesome as well, and the boys are all very much in character but it's Peggy who makes this series what it is.

Summary: When Betty Ross turned up after watching the Battle for New York, the Avengers figured it was the perfect coda to their fight. They didn't realize that watching an old lover battle aliens on international television compels people to check and make sure they're OK - but then Peggy Carter and her grand-daughter and Darcy Lewis and Jane Foster arrived as well. Everyone attempts to deal with a Tower at emotional capacity and figures out how to move forward now that they've actually saved the world. Features multiple points of view, including both Avengers and Peggy, Betty, Jane, Darcy and Pepper.

Review:This fic is just all kinds of awesome fluffyness. It highlights all the awesome ladies of the Marvel franchise which don't get nearly enough attention. From Peggy Carter who is a completely awesome Senior Citizen, to Darcy who's not afraid of anything or anybody, Snacksize gives each of the woman a unique voice and take on the whole "I'm dating a super-hero" conundrum. "

Also you have got to love Thor attempting to woo Steve Rodgers. With the Dubious help of the other Avengers.

Summary:
Steve Rogers is no stranger to the silver screen.

Review:
I loved the concept of this story, bridging off from a small segment of the Captain America movie and expanding on it. Each segment is terrific, bringing the team closer together and educating Steve on the ways society has changed since he was frozen.

The story is well written and engaging. There’s plenty of humor and banter between the characters (I always love Bruce and Tony and the author does a great job with those two), but there are also some more poignant parts when touching on Natasha’s background and Steve’s views on sexuality. I liked the juxtaposition of the beginning and the end with Steve going from living alone in an apartment in Brooklyn simply because that’s where he grew up to the quiet domesticity of him cooking and singing in his home.

Summary: Installment the first, in which Pepper meets Tony, and vice versa... (Pepper Potts played by Shia Labeouf)

Review:
I have to admit that ever since reading this story my personal head canon is Shia! Potts. I love the dynamic between the characters, how well the idea of a male Pepper Potts works.

Subterrain has a way of writing that I absolutely adore. Her characters are sarcastic and sassy but they still are vulnerable when it comes to what they feel for each other.

When Tony starts rubbing Pepper's feet, he claims its entirely innocent. And maybe it is. But it certainly doesn't *look* innocent.

This one is getting recced for the excellent characterizations. Tony and Pepper are completely and wonderfully IC and their banter sparkles. Even Jarvis is in character and he only has a couple of lines (but they are *fabulous* lines). A great fic for fans of movie!verse Iron Man.

Author's Summary: This is what being Iron Man is.

Review: This isn't normally a fandom I rec for this comm, but I discovered it this week and had to share. ^_^ It's a really sweet fic where Tony sort of explores the idea of family and how he hates change – Rhodey and Pepper are heavily featured, and his interactions with Pepper in particular are absolutely spot-on. Its simply wonderful. Every now and then I just have a craving for really good Iron Man fic, and this one I'm keeping for me to reach for.
