Summary: Pictionary in the Bushwick loft is serious business.
Review:
This is a lovely, sweet and funny little fic that offers a glance into the life of the New York crew on one of their game nights. The premise is simple: a collection of classic film titles are placed in a hat and you have to draw whatever film you pull out for the rest of your team to guess. Unfortunately, one team is a lot stronger than the other, and that leaves a few people to their own sneaky devices to try and win.
As usual, flamingmuse's prose flows easily and naturally. She's got a good taste for what's funny and really hits everyone's characterisation bang on the head. It goes to show a great writer when an entire period of life can be painted in just a few thousand words.
