Crash and Burn by Nautibitz (NC-17)
Title: Crash and Burn
Fandom: Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Pairing: Buffy/Spike
Categories: AU, Romance, Humor
Length: Long (35,093 words)
Warnings: All Human AU (No vampires, no watchers, no demons)
Author on LJ:
nautibitz
Author Website: Nautibitz
Summary: An AU, un-supernatural spin on the Buffy/Spike 'ship: Buffy's a barely legal Bel Air brat, Spike's a reckless, heartbroken punk. When they crash into each other on a mountain road, sparks fly.
Review:
This is one of the Buffy/Spike 'Classics', a must read for any true Spuffy fan. ;) Even though this is a much loved fic among Spuffy fans, I decided to take a chance on reccing it for those of you that might have come into the fandom later and didn't stumble across it and those that may want to re-read it. The characterization walks the line perfectly. Nauti manages to write Buffy and Spike in the non-vampire world without losing the aspects of their personalities that make us love them.
